Do You Think Me Strange?: A land of chocolate, rollercoasters, and you. [tag; thesilvertongueofasgard] →

In his time to himself, he had learned to control his more mischievous urges. As well as his temper, which he had quite a short fuse and when it went off, it caused a lot of chaos. But he had gotten a lid on both things, his mischief and anger. Just as Thor did with his brashness and bluntness. Every quality had a less appealing side to it, some more than others. But it made people all the more interesting nevertheless. “I was unaware that you were at all fond of my mischievousness, Thor. I will admit, that’s rather interesting to know.” He smiles when the thunderer pledges to be anything that he needs, and that was a very reassuring feeling. A smirk flickers onto his lips. “As it will be some of the finer parts of my own life. The lovers embrace between us has a level of intimacy I truly cannot describe.”

Loki calmly plowed through his icy beverage, eyes wandering to glance at Thor to see how he was holding up and he stifled a laugh into his empty cup at the groaning. The blonde looked awfully silly shoving both of his thumbs against the roof of his mouth to ease his pain and the trickster discarded his own empty cup.

“Well you fought this battle bravely no matter what.” He glances at his waterproof wrist watch. “Well it is getting close to a dinner hour so we can always get something once we get off this ride.”

Sliding in first, he tries not to giggle stupidly at Thor wiggling in next to him, bumping their hips together. Before he can pull the safety bar down, he finds himself pulled into a kiss. A pair of girls a few seats back shriek in joy at this sight and Loki just stares but quickly returns his attention to the thunderer. “As you are my favorite treat as well.” The bar goes down and he settles next to Thor before sitting up straight, and throwing his arms into the air as The Comet soared and roared to life.

Thor was fond of everything Loki twisted himself to be. He had heard of stories where true love was in the equation, often it happened within days, or just moments, even the story of the beast unfolded within what seemed to be a week or two. For Thor however the affection for his brother had been slowly building up, his devotion had always been apart of the equation but the need to be near Loki, to protect him, to love him, to know him inside out had been a desire that had started off as a passing dream. And then it had blossomed in his mind to his bright, beautiful forest and he could not escape. He did not want to. Loki was all he wanted.

So that was why he kissed him in public, that was why his gaze remain focused on that gorgeous face before the ride swept him away. Loki was what he worried most about, he was what his heart revolved around and he knew that might get in the way of his priorities, some day, but for now, it was perfect. Beaming to himself, he looked ahead and let his arms join Loki’s in the air as he laughed and let the car carry him away in twists and twirls.

Once they got off, Thor grinned and said, “We are well for waiting, your surprise is near.” Taking Loki’s hand he looked over the time, “Come!” Running with Loki’s hand in his, he would duck and weave through the crowds before they landed in front of a big red building. Panting softly, he laughed and guided them both in. They were seated soon enough, it was nothing incredibly fancy, but it was cool and the food smelled delicious.

In his seat, he clapped his hands, waiting, peering over the top of his booth, he looked back to Loki and grinned, “Wait for iiitt…ah!” Laughing as the group of workers came out carrying a big cake fitted with candles, Thor joined in on the singing and bounced in his seat as the dessert was place onto their tables and the song echoed.

“Now,” Thor sighed, “Make another wish!”
